- To provide a 360 degree perspective: We seek to actively foster collaboration between all stakeholders of the women’s healthcare ecosystem – from university students (i.e. medical, engineering, computer science, social sciences), to groundbreaking researchers, chief clinicians, pharma and healthcare companies, key opinion leaders and FemTech startups.(If there is an area of women’s health you feel we’ve neglected or an actor that has not been sufficiently included in the conversation– let us know and tell us how you think we can do better! We want to catalyze innovation within the industry (which means including everyone)).
2 Accessibility:
We are an intentionally Hybrid event, to give people across the globe the chance to attend and have access to thought-provoking women’s health discussions lead by industry leaders. We made the summit free to attend for everyone in 2021 and 2022, not only to enable an international audience not limited by financial constraints to access the femtech conference, but to attract as varied an audience as possible (The Summit is attended by femtech startup founders, university students, medical professionals, journalists, VCs, NGOs, women’s health researchers … the list goes on). Our attendees are interdisciplinary (intentionally so). By recording the sessions and sharing them afterwards, we seek to mitigate time zone constraints.
3 Collaboration: The Summit showcases patient pain-points, latest healthcare breakthroughs and best practices. We catalyze innovation and collaboration via our networking opportunities. (In our first edition alone numerous successful partnerships were formed that are now paving the way and pushing barriers in women’s goal).
