Partner, Kearney
Paula is a Partner and co-leads our European Healthcare & Life Sciences Practice.
She has consulted for over a decade in the pharmaceutical industry, helping pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical clients evolve their commercial strategy to respond to changes the fast-changing healthcare ecosystem, always with health equity top of mind.
She came to consulting after business school and a career as an industrial engineer, experience that helped shape her into the curious and analytical person she is today. But despite her background in a field driven by numbers, her approach to work is anything but impersonal. Leading her teams with empathy and compassion so they can help clients deliver the best possible patient outcomes is what gets her out of bed in the morning. “Work hard, be kind and good things will happen” is her motto.
Paula looks for ways to carry that ethos into her work every day. Consulting, she says, isn’t just about problem-solving; it’s about affecting clients in a positive way. “You roll up your sleeves, come at the problem as one team and then deliver a lasting outcome for patients. The human-to-human connection is the most important thing in this profession”
After her own experience with burnout, Paula is an award-winning voice for Mental Health in the workplace leading our work at Kearney and with her writing featured on Thrive Global and The Huffington Post. As a mother of one, she is also very active in shaping a more sustainable model for parents in consulting at Kearney and beyond.
