Bridging the Gap

FemTechnology was founded on a simple premise: Women's health is not a niche. It is the foundation of a functional healthcare system.

Founder & CEO

Oriana Kraft is a founder, researcher, and systems strategist working to fix the fragmented innovation landscape of women’s health. She is the founder of FemTechnology and the creator of ORI, an intelligence layer designed to translate female-specific medical evidence into real-world clinical and economic decision-making.

Her work began at ETH Zurich, where studying medicine alongside systems engineering exposed a fundamental flaw in modern healthcare: women were routinely excluded from clinical trials, misdiagnosed at higher rates, and treated using guidelines never designed for their biology. Her bachelor’s thesis evolved into the first FemTechnology Summit, convening hundreds of startups, researchers, and clinicians from around the world to address the gender data gap in health and medicine.

Since then, Oriana has built a body of work spanning research, convening, and applied systems design. She has published in Nature Reviews Bioengineering, spoken widely on the intersection of AI, data infrastructure, and health equity, and contributed economic and systems-level analyses that reframe women’s health as a foundational driver of clinical innovation, workforce resilience, and long-term value creation.

ORI is the applied expression of this thesis. It uses AI-driven personalization and structured clinical logic to guide women through diagnostic and care pathways, while generating interpretable data that can improve medical modeling, policy design, and organizational health strategy. The core belief behind ORI is simple: much of what is needed to improve women’s care already exists, but it is fragmented, inconsistently applied, and rarely translated into systems that scale.

Alongside her work in health systems, Oriana is also the author of multiple novels and the creator of Empire of Memories, an interactive work of speculative fiction that explores agency, identity, and power through adaptive narrative.
